Brainiac is
available as both a Series One single pack and in two three pack
assortments. (Series One- Superman, Clear Martian Manhunter, and Brainiac
and the Target Exclusive Superman, Planet Patrol Wonder Woman, and Brainiac.)
The sculpt is largely faithful to the character model, although such a
massive upper chest, some people have reported problems standing their
Brainiac figures. The only paint error is that the inner neck area where his
head sinks in should be painted purple, but it is a relatively minor
quibble, especially when compared with some of the other coloring errors in
other figures.
Brainiac's accessory is a four-pronged gun. Although it is indeed a
'legitimate' accessory (seen
here),
it is still colored wrong. One of the weaker accessories, regardless.
Despite the lackluster accessory, and some copies of the figure having
standing problems, the figure is largely faithful to the character and is a
must for any fan of Justice League Unlimited.
How to Buy: Although he has prominently featured early into the release of
the toyline, he is getting to be a rarer figure to find. The best bet may be
to find him in the Target three pack assortment.
