Atom Smasher is a character
whose power is to grow to giant proportions. Even though his one major (and
silent) appearance was in Task Force X, Mattel saw fit to make a figure of
him. The figure is fairly accurate to the character model, capturing his
bulk and strength well. Ironically, fans have clamored for a ten inch
version of Atom Smasher, though it never materialized.
How to buy: Either
as a single or as a three pack with Flash and Green Lantern. While the
single is preferable (despite the unexciting accessory) to getting more
extra figures of Flash and Green Lantern, the three pack is probably the
most common pegwarmer on shelves right now. Either way, he should not be
hard to find.
