Mattel Figures

Series 3

New Figures (Using Generic Sculpts): Steel ver 1, Tomar Re, Kilowog, Copperhead, Lex Luthor 1 ver 1, Mirror Master, Dr Light, Vixen, Justice Lords Superman, Justice Lords Batman, Justice Lords Wonder Woman

New Figures (Using Unique Sculpts): Supergirl

Number of Figures in Singles Assortment: 9

Number of 3-pack Assortments: 6 assortments

The number of figures are reduced in the release (9 and not 14) but this line also does away with the unnecessary repaints of the previous line and maintains on-model figures. Some figures from 3-packs in the previous line were released as singles. This line would begin a trend of having Superman, Batman and The Flash show up not just as 3-pack fillers but singles. This line marks the last appearance of the Hawkgirl figure.

Singles

The line features a new version of the caped Wonder Woman. Two members of the Superman family, Steel and Supergirl as all new figures. This series is the first to feature Superman, Batman and the Flash with their basic figures as singles. This would continue in the succeeding lines. Waverider, Wildcat and Aztek show up as singles apart from the last series' 3-packs.

3-packs

This line does away with the previous line's 'episode' packs and presents valuable 3-packs that really gel. These being a Green Lantern 3-pack, a Martian Manhunter variation 3-pack, a 'Legion-of-Doom' all-villain 3-pack and a Justice Lord pack. Aquaman with a cape and Dr. Light are repacked with Superman but the value was good so not many complained. The least favored and also most coveted pack would be Vixen, packed with previously released figures although news of a single release quickly made its value decrease.

Series 4

New Figures (Using Generic Sculpts): Kyle Rayner, Katma Tui, Arkkis Chummuck, Zatanna, Shining Knight, Shayera Hol, The Ray, Huntress, Justice Lords Martian manhunter, Justice Lords Green Arrow, Justice Lords The Flash

New Figures (Using Unique Sculpts): Rocket Red, Vigilante, Etrigan

Number of Figures in Singles Assortment: 9

Number of 3-pack Assortments: 6 assortments

At this point, this series has the most number of uniquely-sculpted figures in JLU. The reduced production count (9 singles instead of 14) is also continued. In this line many popular characters are introduced, having had lines in the show- such as Vigilante, Huntress and Etrigan. Orion nearly loses his exclusivity (previously seen only in Targets) as he is released with a sled (albeit with a slightly differed color scheme). We finally get a revamped Hawkgirl, now Shayera Hol. All females in this line include stands and appear only in 3-packs.

Orion is released anew along with two new specially sculpted figures, Rocket Red and Vigilante. We also see characters from the previous series as singles, though their accessories are lackluster. There are no female figures as singles.

3-packs

The 3-packs follow the previous line in bringing the second halves of the Justice Lord and Green lantern sets. 2 packs contain good value figures with a ratio of 2 new figures to 1 repack, while 2 packs also have a ratio of 1 new figure to 2 repacks without much complaints from collectors. Zatanna has two variants but is packed in both cases with the same figure. All 3-packs have females in them except for the Justice Lord pack.
